Neurodiversity encompasses a wide range of individuals, neurotypical and people experiencing neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), the 4 Ds dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, Tourette syndrome, and other conditions that are also present from early years such as Meares-Irlen syndrome and synaesthesia, which are lifelong conditions. Thus, adjustments are necessary throughout life.
Consider that not only these conditions could benefit from strategies and recommendations that may be discussed when you meet with one of our clinicians and professionals.
The most important thing is to remember to be flexible, supportive, “meet in the middle” with others, and use people’s strengths as well as yours!
We look forward to hearing from you. We will be adding more content shortly.
